Vocabulary – Learn and Practice New Words:

  • Pitter patter – the soft sound of rain falling

  • Shimmer – a soft shine or glow

  • Scenery – natural view or landscape

  • Droplets – small drops of water

  • Muse – something that inspires you to create or think

  • Dampen spirits – to make someone feel a little sad

  • Detour – a different way when the usual path is blocked

  • Earthy scent – the smell of soil after rain

  • Sidewalks (footpaths) – paths next to the road for walking

  • Coziness – a feeling of warmth and comfort
