🟦Doing Something New: Now and Then Photography

Week One Umbrella Tall Spaceship Ribbon 12 weeks later: Umbrella Mirror Batman Cape Conversation Empowered The first group are edited more and look prettier. The second group, I feel that I was beginning to see more artistically and added the names, and then I added names to the first group. So I enjoyed that, the process of seeing things as other things, after the photos were taken.

🟦Doing Something New: Creative Photographic Challenge

1. A Tree or Shrub — Unrecognisable Rough Challenge: Photograph a tree or shrub in such a way that it’s not immediately obvious what it is. This encouraged us to explore textures, patterns, and angles that abstract the subject. 2. Shadows Rough Use shadows creatively in the photo—either as subject or supporting element. I played with strong light and shapes to let the shadows tell part of the story. 3. Vertical Lines Towering Beauty The vertical lines of architecture or natural forms can create a sense of strength and height. Cathedral spires, lamp posts, or tree trunks made great subjects. 4. Shape as the Dominant Feature Landed Look for bold shapes and simplify the composition to let form take the lead. I loved isolating curves and angles in this one. 5. Framing Sneaky Peak Use a manmade or natural element to frame your subject. This adds depth and draws the viewer's eye into the photo. 6.
