1. Snow White

Once upon a time, a queen wished for a daughter with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as night. Soon, she had a baby girl called Snow White. After the queen died, the king married a new queen who was beautiful but very jealous. She had a magic mirror that told her she was the fairest in the land—until one day, it said Snow White was more beautiful.

Angry, the queen sent a huntsman to kill Snow White, but he let her go. Snow White ran into the forest and found a small house owned by seven dwarfs. She stayed with them and helped with cooking and cleaning.

The queen found out Snow White was still alive. She used magic to trick her three times—once with a tight corset, once with a poisoned comb, and finally with a poisoned apple. Snow White fell into a deep sleep.

One day, a prince came and saw her. He kissed her, and the spell broke. Snow White woke up. The prince and Snow White fell in love and got married. The evil queen was never seen again. Snow White lived happily ever after.

2. Cinderella

Cinderella was a kind girl who lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters. They made her do all the work and never let her have nice clothes. One day, the king invited every young woman to a royal ball so the prince could find a bride. Cinderella wanted to go, but her stepmother said no.

Cinderella was sad, but her fairy godmother appeared and helped. She turned a pumpkin into a carriage and mice into horses. She gave Cinderella a beautiful dress and glass slippers. But there was one rule: she must return by midnight.

At the ball, the prince danced only with her. When the clock struck twelve, she ran away, leaving one glass shoe behind. The prince searched the kingdom, asking every woman to try on the shoe. When it fit Cinderella, he knew she was the one.

They got married, and Cinderella became a princess. She forgave her stepfamily and lived happily ever after.

3. Sleeping Beauty

A king and queen had a baby girl named Aurora. They invited fairies to her party, and each gave her a gift. But one fairy was not invited. Angry, she gave a curse: Aurora would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep on her 16th birthday.

One good fairy changed the curse. Aurora would sleep, but a prince’s kiss could wake her.

The king ordered all spinning wheels destroyed, but on her 16th birthday, Aurora found one and pricked her finger. She fell into a deep sleep, and so did everyone in the castle.

Years later, a brave prince heard the story. He entered the quiet castle and found Aurora. He kissed her, and she woke up. Everyone else woke up too.

The prince and Aurora got married and lived happily ever after.

4. Beauty and the Beast

A kind girl named Beauty lived with her father and sisters. One day, her father got lost and found a big castle. He picked a rose for Beauty, but the Beast who lived there became angry. He told the father to send one of his daughters in return.

Beauty went to the castle. At first, she was afraid of the Beast. But he was kind, and she began to like him. He asked her to marry him, but she said no.

She went home for a short visit. When she returned, the Beast was very sick. She realized she loved him and said yes. The curse was broken, and the Beast turned into a handsome prince.

Beauty and the prince lived happily ever after.

5. The Little Mermaid

A young mermaid lived in the sea with her family. She loved to listen to stories about the human world. On her 16th birthday, she saw a prince on a ship and fell in love. A storm came, and she saved him, but he didn’t see her face.

She asked a sea witch to give her legs. The witch took her voice in return. The mermaid could now walk but could not speak. The prince liked her but didn’t know she was the one who saved him.

He planned to marry another woman. The mermaid was sad. If he married someone else, she would disappear forever. Her sisters gave her a knife and told her to hurt the prince, but she couldn’t.

Instead, she jumped into the sea and turned into sea foam. But because of her kind heart, she became a spirit of the sea and was happy in another way.
